Celebrating Our February Students of the Month!

Destinations Career Academy is excited to announce our Students of the Month for February, chosen by our dedicated school administration and teachers. These exceptional individuals have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, made positive contributions to their educational pathways, and shown a strong commitment to their education.

Agriculture & Natural Resources: Skyler Robotka 

The Ag and Natural Resources Pathway is proud to have Skyler Robotka as the Student of the Month! Skyler has grown so much in her academic skills throughout her time here at DCA and has been willing to leverage the help of her homeroom teacher and other teachers to help keep her on track. She participates well in classes and advocates for herself regularly. Keep up the great work, Skyler!   

Agriculture & Natural Resources: Rin Ferreira 

Rin has been an excellent member of the DCA community.  Rin is a pleasure to have in class.  They regularly attend classes and complete work.  They are very passionate about wanting to complete assignments on time and to the best of their ability.  Rin has made great strides this year to ensure that they graduate on time and are getting the most out of their classes.  Rin’s future is definitely bright and I cannot wait to see what they do in the future. 

Business Management & Administration: Yaritizi Aguilar-Amaya 

Yaritzi Aguilar-Amaya is a positive and motivated student who has shown strong growth since coming to DCA in September of 2025. She is committed to her education and consistently works hard to do well in her classes. Yaritzi takes pride in her learning and is always willing to put in the effort needed to improve and succeed. She also participates in the Work Based Learning program, where she gains valuable real-world experience and builds important career skills. Yaritzi has shown an interest in a future career in real estate and enjoys exploring goals that connect to her strengths. In addition, she loves art, painting, and hands-on projects, which allow her creativity to shine and help her stay engaged in her learning. 

Construction & Engineering: Brycen Rodebush 

Brycen is a pleasure to have in class and an outstanding member of the DCA community.  He regularly attends his classes and is intrinsically motivated to get his work done.  He often comes on microphone and adds valuable information to the conversation.   I have no doubt that Brycen will find future success in whatever he chooses to do. 

Construction & Engineering: Vinny Rosenogle 

Vinny Rosenogle is an exemplar student in the Construction and Engineering pathway. He has a sunny-bright outlook on life who always seems happy to participate in class and with homeroom activities. Vinny advocates for himself and is never afraid to ask for help. He is a leader in our homeroom; we are lucky to have him!   

Health Sciences: Logahn Howard 

Logahn consistently demonstrates kindness, hard work, and dedication in everything they do. Her positive attitude and thoughtful nature help create a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued. We are so fortunate to have such a compassionate and committed member of our school community.   

Health Sciences: Yamilex Borrero Sucre 

Yamilex exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated Health Sciences student. They show genuine care for the subject matter, consistently engaging with lessons and demonstrating a strong desire to understand how health science concepts apply to real-world settings. When faced with challenges, Yamilex takes initiative by reaching out for help, asking thoughtful questions, and using feedback to grow. Their commitment to learning, strong work ethic, and willingness to seek support reflect both academic maturity and a true passion for the field. Keep up the great work, Yamilex! 

Information Technology: Manny Adan 

We are proud to recognize Manny Adan as our IT Pathway Student of the Month. Manny consistently demonstrates dedication, positivity, and leadership, especially in homeroom. He attends live sessions on a consistent basis, including homeroom and academic classes and arrives ready to engage. Not to mention that one of his classes is an 8:00 a.m. class! Manny asks thoughtful questions, shares meaningful insights, and contributes in ways that strengthen class discussions. His uplifting attitude and willingness to participate help set a positive tone and encourage others to get involved. Manny’s reliability and active engagement make him a strong representative of our IT Pathway. Congratulations, Manny, on this well-deserved recognition! 

Law and Criminal Justice: Alyssa Gutha 

Alyssa is conscientious, engaged, and consistently completes high-quality work. She stays organized, meets deadlines, and puts real effort into everything she does. Alyssa participates thoughtfully in class and shows a strong commitment to learning. Her consistency and work ethic make her a great fit as the Law Pathway Student of the Month!
