How to Apply for Part-Time Enrollment

Students interested in part-time enrollment with Destinations Career Academy (DCA) should first speak with their local school counselor or administrator to determine the best enrollment option.  Parents, students, and school representatives are welcome to contact DCA with any questions.

Option 1: DCA Direct

Best for: Students enrolling through their local school district.

• Enrollment is coordinated by the student’s local district representative (typically a counselor, CTE director, or principal).
• All required documentation is submitted by the district.
• Districts or consortiums enrolling more than 10 students qualify for reduced per-course pricing.
• Contact DCA for additional information about district enrollment and pricing.

Option 2: Part-Time Open Enrollment (PTOE)

Best for: Families applying independently.

• Applications are completed by the student and/or parent or guardian.
• When approved, tuition is paid by the student’s resident school district.
• PTOE follows state-established requirements and application deadlines, so it is important to apply on time.

How to Submit Your PTEO Application

Important: PTOE Applications must be received by DCA at least six weeks before the first day of class. If you miss PTOE deadline, please explore the DCA Direct option with your local school district.

• Semester 1: Deadline to apply is Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
• Semester 2: Deadline to apply is Friday, August 5, 2026.

PTOE Cost: Approximately $750 per course seat
