Destinations Career Academy is excited to announce our Students of the Month for March, chosen by our dedicated school administration and teachers. These exceptional individuals have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, made positive contributions to their educational pathways, and shown a strong commitment to their education.

Agriculture & Natural Resources: Helena Warren

Helena Warren is hard working and motivated student in the Agriculture and Natural Resources Pathway. She brings positivity and excellence to her classes through submitting high quality assignments consistently and participating regularly. Helena demonstrates leadership qualities, as a member of both FBLA and FFA, where she is working to create a collaborative effort between the clubs for a fundraiser. We are proud to nominate and recognize her excellence and leadership qualities. Keep bringing your positivity and innovation to classes and clubs, Helena!

Business Management & Administration: Kyra Aures

Kyra Aures is a dedicated and resilient DCA student who has taken on the challenge of learning Accounting. Despite facing some obstacles along the way, she remains committed to mastering the subject. Kyra’s dedication to her studies reflects her strong work ethic and her ability to overcome difficulties, proving that with persistence, she can tackle even the most challenging pursuits.

Construction & Engineering: Alex Swiontek

Alex Swiontek is our Student of the Month in Construction & Engineering! As a dedicated participant in the Work-Based Learning Program, Alex has gone above and beyond in balancing classroom learning with real-world experience. His hard work and commitment have earned top grades and respect from both instructors and industry professionals. We are proud to celebrate his achievements this month! Great work Alex.

Health Sciences: Alexandra Cruz Diaz

Alexandra is a dedicated and engaged learner who consistently attends class, completes her work, and actively participates in discussions. Her enthusiasm for learning is evident in the thoughtful contributions she makes and the effort she puts forth. She is a role model for her peers, demonstrating responsibility, curiosity, and a strong work ethic. Keep up the great work, Alexandra!

Information Technology: Billy Brazier

Billy has also been recognized as the overall student of the month across all pathways!

Billy Brazier is a dedicated student leader who excels academically and actively contributes to his school community. As Historian of NTHS and Vice President of FBLA, he empowers students through advocacy, leadership, and career-focused initiatives, including organizing meetings and leading a school-wide presentation on interview skills. Billy also showcases his competitive spirit in events like the Junior Achievement Titan Challenge and expands his leadership through conferences. Balancing a rigorous course load in Cybersecurity and Advanced Web Design, he applies his skills as the school store’s webmaster while also pursuing his passion for music as a talented jazz saxophonist.

Law and Criminal Justice: Landon Stephenson

Landon has been a dedicated law pathway student from the start.  He’s challenged himself and chosen classes that help him progress towards his goals.  He demonstrates attention to detail when submitting assignments.  He made excellent connections to the legal profession all throughout first semester ELA 12 as it relates to needing to communicate clearly, have “hard” evidence, and consider ALL points of view on a given issue before developing a concise argument. Beyond these skills, LS offers support for his classmates by asking clarifying questions in the chat for discussion purposes or assignment-related questions.  LS demonstrates a “quiet” level of maturity and engagement- LS is the kind of student who “is present” and actively participates, in a quiet, conscientious way.

We congratulate all our March Students of the Month for their outstanding achievements! Their dedication, hard work, and positive contributions to our school community exemplify the bright future ahead of them.
