Destinations Career Academy is thrilled to announce our March Students of the Month, selected by our dedicated school administration and teachers. These exceptional individuals have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, positive contributions to their pathways, and a strong commitment to their education.
Agriculture s Natural Resources: Anna Estes
The Agriculture C Natural Resources Pathway is excited to share the Anna Estes has been selected as the pathway’s Student of the Month for March! As a Senior, she has set a great example to peers about hard work and dedication to her studies by always turning in work that goes above and beyond. Anna balances both schoolwork and outside commitments with ease showcasing her time management and communication skills. We are so proud of Anna!
Business Management s Administration: Hope Knueppel
Hope has demonstrated strong determination and responsibility since joining DCA mid- year. She consistently completes her assignments, performs well in her courses, and actively participates in class activities and discussions. Hope is also a strong self- advocate, taking initiative to communicate her needs and stay engaged in her
learning. She has acclimated well to the online learning environment and continues to
show a positive commitment to her education. Hope’s effort, responsibility, and
willingness to stay engaged in her learning make her a deserving Student of the Month.
Construction s Engineering: Lamaryea Brunette
The Construction and Engineering pathway would like to nominate Lamaryea Brunette for student of the month. Lamar has shown impressive growth during his time at DCA. He is a humble presence that gives credit to others for his success and growth. Lamaryea is gifted in reflection and deep thinking and articulates his thoughts clearly and concisely in conversation. It has been a pleasure to interact with Lamar and we look forward to seeing him continue to flourish and succeed as he works towards graduation and next steps.
Health Sciences: Arianna Delgado
Arianna showcases dedication to her studies, student organizations (NTHS C HOSA), and to continuing her education. The work she submits always goes above and beyond. She is a student leader, being the historian/reporter in HOSA, and always helping lead NTHS led homeroom sessions. She also recently went through a CNA course to gain her CNA certification. Her commitment to the field of Health Sciences shines through all that she does. Continue the awesome work, Arianna!
Information Technology: Nathan Lee
Nathan is a hardworking and motivated student who consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to his education and future goals. He actively participates in class discussions, completes assignments with care, and takes pride in doing his best in all
of his courses. Nathan is very forward-thinking about his future and approaches his high school experience with purpose and enthusiasm. He is also highly career-focused and is intentionally building the skills and experiences needed to ensure he is career-ready after high school. Next school year, Nathan will continue challenging himself by taking Start College Now courses to further prepare for his future.
Beyond the classroom, he is an active member of both SkillsUSA and the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), where he serves as the Communications Director and plays a leadership role on the Marketing Committee. Nathan also advocates for himself and takes initiative in his learning. He is proud of his accomplishments and is truly enjoying his high school journey, making him a well-deserving choice for Student of the Month.
Law and Criminal Justice: Dalin Noel
Dalin consistently demonstrates strong communication skills, both with his teachers and his peers. He is respectful, thoughtful, and clearly expresses his ideas in a way that contributes positively to class discussions.
He regularly attends Homeroom and uses that time productively, showing responsibility and commitment to his school community. In daily classes, he is actively engaged—he asks meaningful follow-up questions, seeks clarification when needed, and shows genuine curiosity about the material. His participation not only reflects his own dedication to learning but also encourages others to be more involved.
He is a dependable and engaged member of our classroom, and he is truly deserving of this recognition.
Law and Criminal Justice: Michelle Johnson
Michelle is a great communicator and strong self advocate. She works hard and asks for help when she needs it. She sets goals for herself and takes accountability. Michelle is a great student and a wonderful person. She is resilient, has a good sense of humor and is overall just great to work with!
